my mom: the dog has a grooming appointment at 4.

me, who has a class at 4:30 and has to rely on my mom for transportation: oh, okay, you can head over and drop her off and then drive back here and take me over to the university, and then head back there in time for her appointment to end.

my mom: but they said the appointment would take only ten minutes

me: ....they say that every time. and every time it's been 30 minutes at least. every time. you cannot rely on what the estimated time will be. listen to me. listen to me. drive back here immediately after you drop her off, I'll be ready to go. do not sit and wait in the dog groomer's parking lot.

anyways. one guess as to what the fuck she did and who was late for class.

#i was 17 MINUTES late to class. i had to catch up on the BRAND NEW CONCEPT that was introduced in those minutes #i was ready to go at 4:05. i sat there by the door until she drove back in at *4:37*#and now IM being called unreasonable for being angry about it???#i got home to find she put up a note saying ''im not responsible for getting you to class on time''#and ''im not responsible for getting you there if you aren't ready''#YOU ARE. YOU ARE MY ONE SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION.#THE BUSES DO NOT COME BY AT THE RIGHT TIMES UNLESS I WANTED TO LEAVE TWO HOURS EARLY.#IT WOULD TAKE ME 50 MINUTES TO WALK THERE AND IT'S -21 RIGHT NOW.#THIS WAS LITERALLY THE SIMPLEST THING.#I TOLD YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEEDED TO DO. YOU COULD'VE DONE IT.#BUT NOW IT'S M Y FAULT?????#I WAS READY. I WAS FUCKING READY TO GO. NOT ONCE HAVE I NOT BEEN READY TO GO.#I HAVE ARRIVED EARLY TO ALL OF MY CLASSES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE FUCKING SCHOOL YEAR #IF YOU'D HAD AN APPOINTMENT MUCH CLOSER TO MY CLASS TIME I WOULD'VE UNDERSTOOD. I WOULD'VE GONE EARLIER.#BUT THIS?? Do you think in the "Out of Tears" video the cameras just happened to be rolling when Charlie went in the telephone booth to call Shirley and ask her to come pick him up from this bloody music video set and then captured his disappointment when he realized it was just a prop? I do.

#watching the old music videos #especially from 1990-7 #really makes you realize how far they’ve fallen in that department #they’re so much fun and so interesting to watch b/c they manage to incorporate interesting cinematography and motifs/plots #with having the band themselves participate #some of them are completely psychotic (looking at you ‘Sex Drive’ and ‘I Go Wild’)#but none of them are boring or lacking something creative and worth seeing #and they used genuinely talented and recognized film people on the projects #I’m not saying it’s a completely Hackney Diamonds era issue #b/c most of the music videos for A Bigger Bang and the handful of singles that came out after it #aren’t that great or special either #but the two HD music videos are particularly boring and atrocious #one naked (no pun intended) appeal to the male gaze and one boring misogynistic 4 minute trope #it’s crazy that the videos they were making 30 years ago were edgier and more subversive than what they do now #yet also on track for what a piece of corporate mechanized mall music garbage that album is #the rolling stones #charlie watts #ask response #anonymous #gifset #gif set

I wish my babygirl wouldn't have seizures ever....my poor honey bear, I promise on my life I'll get those seizures controlled for you, sweetheart.

#pretty sure she had a very minor seizure after we left for work last night because of the evidence we came home to around 4 am #cleaned her up and cleaned up her crate the best i could and she took her medication at 4:30 am #then at almost 7 am she had a minute long seizure #i wish i had the finances right now to make her neurology appointment but im going to have to wait and that makes me so infuriated...

Not even loving my job can save me from the slowly mind numbing exhaustion of my schedule

the final for my second year photography class! After seeing the beautiful They Watch the Moon by Trevor Pagan, I got interested in the long exposure aspect of it and the really beautiful green, hazy quality of the photo. So! I tried my hand at it

One of the few pieces of art that necessitated I take a nap to create it lmao. Set the camera up in my bedroom and kept the lil wireless shutter remote on my bedside table!

For the eating an apple one, during crit my teacher initially thought it was brushing teeth haha; they really liked the series though! yippee! It's not quite one of my favourites but it was very interesting to make (and fun!)

Here it is installed for crit (I remember my initial idea was to have it hanging from string like a mobile?? but I think I prefer how it looks like this):

i’ve had a headache since i left the airport yesterday and i thought maybe it would go away while i was asleep but it did not. hoping it will go away when i drink some coffee because if not i guess i’ll just have to live like this until i die

#i think going to maine fixed my sleep schedule also which is so funny because i tried like every night to fix it the week before i left and #failed/gave up.#but then i had set a 7:30 alarm every day while there but every day i woke up before it went off #i think it’s because the sun comes up so early in maine. 4:30am no joke #yesterday i woke up and there was sunlight streaming in through the curtain gap and i looked at the time. 4:58am. ummmm.no #and the weather…please 65 degrees again please please you’re nothing #got off the plane in charlotte and even walking through the jet bridge it was walter white falling.gif. like 90 degrees or something #but at least my flight landed like 30 minutes early somehow.
